Paul Lambert is under pressure to get a result against his former side in this relegation battle

The Scot departed Norwich on bad terms after a controversial exit from Carrow road back in 2012. His mind will be fully focused on his Villa side that have not won a game in their last four Premier League matches and have won just once in seven. This is a fixture Villa have dominated of late, winning five of the last seven in all competitions, but Lambert will know the threat Norwich face, as they visit Villa Park full of confidence having come off the back of a 1-0 victory against Tottenham last weekend. Chris Hughton’s side are on level points with their opposition and will be just as desperate to clinch maximum points. Before the win against Tottenham, Hughton’s men had won just one Premier League match in 11 attempts, but much the needed win has propelled them to four points clear of the relegation zone.
