Cardiff Vs Swansea
Sunday November 3rd, 4.00pm
It’s a big day in South Wales as Cardiff play host to Swansea in today’s derby. A great Super Sunday game as the two Welsh clubs go head to head for the first time in the Premier League.
Looking at the fantasy ownership of the home team there are a few players to look out for today.
Fraizer Campbell (£5.5M) is the most owned Cardiff player in the Fantasy game with 6.9% of teams retaining his services in their squad. He will surely want a repeat of the heroics that saw him score twice against Manchester City at the Cardiff City Stadium back in gameweek 2. Elsewhere, midfielder Whittingham has a 5% ownership to his name and will be looking to build on the 1 goal and 2 assists managed so far this season. Making up the top outfield Cardiff players is defender Ben Turner with 3.7% ownership. Goalkeeper Joe Lewis may only have played 90 minutes in the first 9 games of the season but is actually the 3rd most popular Cardiff player due largely to his low price of £4m allowing managers to strengthen their squad elsewhere no doubt.
For Swansea we see the ownership numbers jump dramatically. Michu was the surprise revelation from the 2012-13 season for Swansea and while he hasn’t managed to quite reach the form of last season he is still considered a threat by the massive 14.1% ownership, to put that into context that’s more than 420,000 fantasy managers who will be looking to Michu today to add to his 2 goals so far this season.
Elsewhere, with 3 clean sheets in 6 appearances Ashley Williams commands a 7% fantasy ownership and plenty will be looking towards both him and Goalkeeper Vorm (who comes in with a simliar ownership of 6.6%) to try and keep Cardiff at bay. Finally, Midfielder Wayne Routledge at 4.5% ownership makes up the top owned Swansea players.
