David Beckham’s Premier League debut came at home to Leeds United on April 2, 1995. He would score eight goals in the 1995-96 season for the Red Devils while leading them to the Premier League and FA Cup double. Beckham won his lone EPL Player of the Month award in August 1996. Manchester United repeated as Premier League champion the following year while also reaching the semifinals of the Champions League, and Beckham was named the EPL’s voted Young Player of the Year. In the 1998-99 season, Beckham played a career-high 52 matches in leading Manchester United to the storied “treble”: the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League titles.
