Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United to drop points??

Previews by @OurLogie and @Bet_McLean

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

Chelsea I surely won’t lose the title at this stage but the most interesting battle of course is at the bottom. What a battle to avoid relegation and there are some huge games on offer this weekend.

BMC

Everton v Man UnitedEverton seemed to have found their mojo again in recent weeks and are back playing some decent football. These two sides always have a go at each other and I think we could see a really entertaining game on offer.. Everton are unbeaten in their last five and they won’t want to loss to United.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

There is of course great rivalry when Liverpool face United but the Everton fans are just as passionate.

It’s always a close affair and I’m going for a draw in this one.

Draw.

Man City v Aston Villa

Against all the odds Aston Villa are in the Cup final and players will be keen to impress the boss ahead of the big day at Wembley. The chances are several Villa players will already have their eyes on the stadium.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

City have had a miserable 2015 and they really need to start winning matches. They will do that here.

Home win.

Southampton v Spurs

This could be a very tight affair. Southampton have lost their way in recent weeks and they need to start winning games before the end of the season.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino returns for the first time since leaving for Spurs and I think they will get the crowd going. Spurs are a bit like Southampton. Hard to call. It will be close and tight all the way but if Harry Kane is off formn then so too are Spurs. I think the home side might be trying that little bit harder.

Home win.

Burnley v Leicester

What a game. A six pointer. A nine pointer. Call it what you like it has to be one of the games of the weekend and a game not for the fait hearted. Leicester have dragged themselves up by the boots with three wins in a row and yet it could all fall apart with a defeat here especially if QPR win their game.

Burnley have tried hard in every game but one goal in their last four matches shows a team in awful trouble.

I like both theses teams. I think they have tried very hard in the Premiership but the chances are at least one of them will be heading back down to the Championship.

A hard one to call and the easy call would be a draw but I’m going for a home win. It won’t be easy all the same.

Home Win.

Crystal Palace v Hull

I tipped Palace last week to beat West Brom but it didn’t work out. Palace had most of the ball and best chances but they lost 2-0 and in the end were well beaten. Two defeats in a row after the efforts of Alan Pardew would be a real blow. All along like most other people I have been saying that Hull won’t go down. Not as confident now. After this they have games against

Liverpool and Arsenal. Not easy.

Hull are struggling all over the park and every week they appear to be slipping closer to the trap door. A defeat here could be terminal.

I’m going for a home win. Come on Palace. Don’t let me down again…

Home win.

Newcastle v Swansea

Are Newcastle still in the Premiership? They appear to be one of those forgot Their season is over and in John Carver they have a decent coach but a coach who won’t be there next season. Newcastle have lost six on the bounce and their confidence has to be at rock bottom.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

Swansea will battle to the end but I feel the home side just might get something out of this fixture. I say that with no apparent confidence.

Draw.

Stoke v Sunderland

Stoke need four points to break the 50 points mark this season. Mark Hughes will keep them going right to the end.

They welcome a Sunderland side who are just so inconsistent.

Stoke normally don’t do defeats at home.

Home win.

QPR V West Ham

Just like Burnley Leicester this is another special game and a game that will have a huge bearing on the final positions. West Ham appear to be in free fall. Sam Allardyce looks set to be replaced at the end of the season and the players know it.

QPR will fight for every ball as if their lives depend on it. QPR had four points from two games before the defeat to Chelsea so they will be for this London Derby.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

I think they might just have enough.

Home win.

West Brom v Liverpool

The win at Palace last week eased the pressure for West Brom. They needed a few points and they got them. Now they face a Liverpool side dumped out of the FA Cup and heading it seems for a season of nothing. Brendan Rodgers insists he is the best man for Liverpool going forward and he has done all right I suppose. Daniel Sturridge was a big loss all season and there will have to be changes during the summer.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

Games are running out for Liverpool and you just wonder can they turn their season around with a run of wins otherwise it could end like a damp squib.

I think Tony Pulis will have his troops up for this one against one of the Big clubs.

Draw.

Arsenal v Chelsea

Could this be lucky 13 for Arsene Wenger. Thirteen times he has faced Jose Mourinho and still not a single win.

I’m not convinced he will get it here either. There is a doubt over Diego Costa and that could be key to the game. Chelsea won’t lose the title from this position but they have appeared a little nervous in recent weeks. The last two wins have been 1-0. Still another one here would be perfect.

Other leagues may already be done and dusted but not so the Premier League.

I don’t think that is going to happen all the same. I think Chelsea will go into the game saying we cannot afford to lose and they will set up that way as a result.

Chelsea have Leicester mid week so they still have a few difficult fixtures to face. A draw here would be good enough for them and I think they will get that.

Draw.
