At FantasyYIRMA.com We are always happy to raise awareness for worthy Charitable causes. “Premier League in a Day” is a great charity event for Sport Relief organised by Anglian Home Improvements.

Twenty different 5-a-side teams will aim to complete 380 Premier League fixtures in one single day.

We recognise the enormous amount of organising and planning required for this event, with matches starting early in the morning, and continuing well into the night. However all that effort goes toward the extremely worthwhile Sport Relief  charity. The event was previously ran in 2012 and raised in excess of £20,000, all of which went to Sport Relief. Premier League in a Day

This is a unique, one of a kind footballing event gathering players from across the country to help raise money for Sport Relief, whilst enjoying the sport they love. All 380 Premier League games, played in a 5-a-side tournament in just 12 hours emulated by all 20 of the current Premier League teams.

Teams have been formed by Aviva, Anglian Home Improvements, Yale and even Norwich City FC staff will challenge their endurance as they play 38 matches lasting 8 minutes, with only a 4 minute rest in between. The teams consisting of 10 players, all of whom are asked to raise £100, will have inspiration during the day from the FA Cup which will both be there for the March 15^th event.

The aim for Premier League in a Day is to raise £25,000 for Sport Relief, after the last two successful events have raised £43,000 for the charity helping fund projects at home and abroad. The players will not be the only ones helping achieve this target; there will be a charity auction on the Premier League in a Day website with signed Arsenal shirts, a signed Manchester United football and much more footballing memorabilia up for grabs.

The day will be jam packed with football as whilst the 20 teams compete to be crowned Premier League in a Day champions, the F2 Freestylers will also be at the event attempting to break a world record, and carrying out a skill school with local youth football teams.

It is a fun and exhausting day, the players are already prepared for the aches and pains for the following week, but it is all for a fantastic cause. If any of you would like to donate to this incredible Sport Relief event, click here.
