Everton v Manchester City
It seems Roberto Martinez can’t do anything which will please some Everton supporters. It wouldn’t matter if he gave each of them a free season ticket. They won well at fancied Southampton last week to give him some sort of respite. But I’ll bet the howls of derision will resume at the conclusion of this match.
City to win.

Watford v Southampton
Watford are mid table, and even though head coach Quique Sanchez Flores (how’s that for a mouthful?) claims he has every right to be optimistic, I doubt if they will climb above that place. Two draws from the opening two matches may have calmed the nerves at Vicarage Road and I suspect this match will finish the same way.
A draw.

West Brom v Chelsea
Hopefully the furore over James McClean’s ill-advised pre-season behaviour dies down and that the fans at the Hawthorns give him a break to watch him start delivering for Tony Pulis who has invested so much in his undoubted ability. I’m also looking for huge performances from Gareth McAuley and Chris Brunt – if only to pile on the hardship on Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho. His humiliation of the club’s medical staff has been disgraceful.
West Brom to win.
