Top Summer Premier League Transfers

Top transfers This Summer: #3 Sofiane Feghouli

West Ham were a real danger going forward last year. With the attacking presence of Dmitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini, Victor Moses and Michail Antonio the hammers midfield was a strikers dream. (If only they had one to pass to). Now as they approach their first season in the Olympic stadium the club are trying to bring in a big name to match their ambitions. There’s been some realistic rumours and some completely ridiculous ones ‘James Rodriguez’, but the one big name they have brought in this summer has the potential to be the deal of the season. Sofiane Feghouli signed to the East London early in June on a free transfer after leaving Valencia.

Feghouli turnt down a new deal after a messy season for the Spanish club saw him become unsettled. One clubs loss is another’s gain and West Ham have defiantly gained from this signing. The Algerian International comes to England with a strong reputation as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe. With 31 goals and 40 assists in 202 appearances ofiane Feghouli is clearly someone that can provide some exiting moments in the clubs new stadium.

West Ham had no problem scoring last year, despite going through most of the season without a two fully fir strikers. Payet, Lanzini and Antonio had great first seasons for the club scoring 23 goals between them. Feghouli now joins that attack and has looked very impressive in preseason so far. West Ham’s midfield is very strong, if they are able to bring in a big name striker the club could challenge for a top five place this season.
