Outsider – Junior Stanislas, Bournemouth
The thing about Stanislas is that he’s draft gold on a per minute basis. That doesn’t always translate to the OFPL where more minutes = more opportunity for goals/assists and in that format scorers are king. And Josh King isn’t a scorer. But JT is. With 3g 3a in fewer than 1000′, he has all the markings of a double-double player if he could just get a full season of minutes. He’s played at least 58′ in four on the spin with 2g, 2a in his last five. £5.9m and 0.6% selected make this midfielder an easy option for those on two free transfers this week. While GW30 against Spurs looms, the Cherries get West Brom, Watford and Palace in GW31-33 without a blank.
Draft – Eric Maxim Chupo-Moting, Stoke
DYK that EMCM is only 8$% owned? No player with more total points is less owned in Togga except last weeks pick Gudmundsson (79%) and they are the only two under 90%. While JBG came up a little short in last weeks 1-1 draw with Southampton, EMCM will not suffer the same fate this week! He’s posted minimal points in four on the bounce; that’s about how long he needs to break out of a slump. Plus, Shaqiri has been lethal of late and Mauricio Pellegrino will ensure that his team doesn’t get torched by the Swiss winger. Pellelgrino hasn’t been good for much but he has ensured his team concede goals to opposing forwards as Rondon, Firmino, Salah and Barnes can attest. And that’s just the last three weeks. EMCM will make if four this weekend.
